Trevor and Mike came yesterday to install a shower pan and did miscellaneous related plumbing jobs in order to replace a shower head. They did a great job. They were very knowledgeable, professional and polite. Throughly cleaned up when they were done. I highly recommend Southside Plumbing and these two employees.

I hired Southside Plumbing to fix a leak and replace pipes under my kitchen sink. Kyle and Mike were very pleasant to work with and they did an excellent job. And the cost was not that expensive. I was expecting to pay at least $850 to 900 dollars it was half that price. I would definitely recommend Southside Plumbing to any family or friends for any plumbing needs. Ask for Kyle & Mike. I had a complex plumbing issue due to structural issues on my property. We have used Southside Plumbing twice now and received exceptional service each time. Response time was awesome even during a super busy time. Not only were our issues all fixed the same day, but the customer service was above and beyond. Each technician was polite and communicated what they were going to be doing as they worked. We will continue to use Southside if any other problems arise and would strongly recommend others do so as well!

We called a few plumbers on a job to bring the laundry box valves up to code, and Mark from Southside was the first to call me back and with a reasonable price, and they could also schedule me right away. Whereas the other plumbers I called either gave ridiculously high prices and tried to sell me memberships, or they couldn't come in early enough to help. So I'm very glad to find Southside. Chris the master plumber also did a fantastic job replacing the valves, in a timely manner, leaving the work site clean as well. I will definitely recommend them and use them again in the future.

I have now had 3 different and outstanding service calls to my business, a small dental office, from Southside Plumbing. I will never consider calling another plumber before calling Southside.One call was for a pre-orchestrated and fairly large job.One call was an urgency for a water leak and was fixed within 24 hours.One call was for an emergency due to a catastrophic pressurized airline leak, and was fixed afterhours within 3 hours of my phone call.I owe these guys big time.

We have used Southside Plumbing for all our plumbing needs for almost a decade (both in our old home and our new home). We have always had professional, responsive, and high quality repairs or installations. We've had so many types of services performed and they have all been fantastic. Recently we had a leak in our water heater and they came out immediately the next morning to make the repair. We trust all the repairs and costs they perform. Also, I've never had any issue with calling them back if we had questions or something didn't seem to be working properly. Southside Plumbing always made things right. We really appreciate having a plumbing company that we can count on.

Needed 2 saddle valves replaced as one was leaking and the other was stuck in my unfinished basement. Wanted to have the saddle valves replaced with simple quarter-turn, angle ball valves. They were able to come out quickly the next day but this company was SO EXPENSIVE. I needed the work done quickly and they did a good job but I can't believe how much they charged me. This company charges a ton for simple work that was extremely easily accessible. $$$$

We needed a new water heater installed in our home and were fortunate enough to find Southside Plumbing. Miles and Kyle helped install the unit. They were on time, professional, courteous and did a thorough job. We needed some additional repairs for our heating system. Trevor helped resolve that issue. He was also professional, explained the process/how our heating system works and fixed the issue. We appreciate all three of their time and expertise. Will definitely be using this business in the future for our plumbing/water heater needs.

This company is overpriced and their service is underwhelming. They were hired to install a new kitchen faucet and to reinstall two existing bathroom faucets. Onsite I was told the disposal unit was leaking so got that replaced too for $285..sounds high, right? It is very high. I will not use them again and do not recommend them. Their service person was just okay and left the place a mess to boot; they did not disclose their pricing and added $$$$ for small items...very poor customer service. I used them based on a referral but that referral is a year old and I blame myself for not shopping around. I had new quartz counters installed that cost less than the final bill from this plumber. Be forewarned.

Trevor was as particular as I am. He was on time, removed his shoes in the house, was very professional, he installed a smart water shut off valve for us and the install looks incredible. We recently moved into a house with a hot water heater that had exceeded its life span. This past weekend it died with a flourish of water leaking from the top and bottom. This particular heater is not the type you find at Home Depot. It’s got all this fancy venting. Of course it died on a weekend. We texted Southside on Sunday and included pictures of the old heater with make and model. A few hours later the owner called and said that they could come out in the morning and would be able to install a new one immediately. He also checked with my husband to make sure that we shut off the water and gas to the defunct heater. They arrived early this morning and were extremely efficient and professional. The job was completed and hot water was restored. They did such a good job my husband asked them to install 2 new toilets as well. Again the job was completed quickly and without incident. We recommend this company above all of the larger big box type companies around. They were a pleasure to work with. Hello....i had a great experience with Southside...being a homeowner without a lot of repair skills or understanding - when im faced with a problem i tend to ignore it or hope it goes away because i dont like buying a service i dont know about. Plumbing problems certainly fit that bill but recently i found Southside through a web search and was very satisfied with the quick response - patience while i stumbled thru a description of my problem and then when i decided to hire them - i had a great experience with the service, price, and quality of the work. Great company and while i hope i dont have to do lots of business with them because that means lots of plumbing problems - i know that if they do arise i will call them first...

Overall, I was disappointed with work performed on two bathrooms currently under construction. In one bathroom, they punched holes through the back of the drywall and left it to us to mud and fix them. In the second bathroom, they installed the wrong valve, which they found in a hardware box for a tub. That left us two options: Either rip out the wall or buy new shower hardware to match the valve.The rest of the work performed was done to satisfaction. The guys were very courteous and professional. I just expected a bit more given the rather high price point.

We have been customers of Southside for many years. Mark has helped us out of tight spots and made repairs, installed water heaters, garbage disposals and fixed many leaks in pipes.But recently I have called Mark-to repair leaky pipes and he has never responded to my calls. I understand he may be busy or tied up with Covid 19 issuesbut I would expect a call back.Won’t call again

We called Mark after a long and valiant attempt at a DIY installation of a replacement hot water heater with a new expansion tank. Got stymied by a bird's nest of uncooperatively shaped piping above it. Mark responded very quickly and had it all assessed, priced, and then streamlined, connected, tightened, tested, and tidied up in great time. He used as many as our pre-purchased items and new parts as he was comfortable with and furnished the rest. Gave us a great $$-saving tip on hauling the old heater to the scrap metal place in town. Fantastic dry sense of humor, too. Up from the basement floated his voice telling my husband: "Yes, you can help hold the tools, but as soon as you tell me how to do it, I'll hand YOU the tools and YOU're gonna do it." LOLOLOL And they got along great! Obviously, it was not Mark's first rodeo! We would recommend him and will definitely be calling Southside again whenever we need plumbing assistance in the future! Thank you, Mark!

Today I called about my aging water heater because it was making poor choices of when to produce enough hot water. Within less than 2 hours of my initial call, I had a reasonable quote and same day service commitment. At promptly when I was told someone would be here, Miles and Kyle showed up at my door. They were in branded shirts so I knew who they were right away. Professional, polite, responsible, and reliable. This team did a great job upgrading our water heater and brought our home back to code. So happy with Southside Plumbing...won't trust ANYONE else!!

We had a situation that required a plumber immediately during demo, Mark adjusted his schedule and arrived quickly with a team of workers to cap and prep valves and waste lines before cabinet installation. His follow-up trip to trim out fixtures went as scheduled. No extra charges. Excellent communication. A+ experience.

Mark was here in 2 hours when we smelled gas coming from our stove. Prior to him, we had an appliance company "think" they fixed it, but the gas smell came back. Mark spent an hour looking at all possibilities and found the gas leak. Very reasonably priced based on other quotes we received over the phone. We will use him anytime we need a plumber! So glad we found Southside Plumbing!

We have had a lot of work done on our home lately and Southside plumbing was the only company who respected me, respected my home, was polite and efficient, and had a comparable price but superior service. They recently installed a tankless hot water heater for usus a did a great job installing it within the time quoted. Everyone was pleasant to interact with and I felt like they cared about my home and doing a good job. It's been a couple weeks and so far everything has been working great, no complaints.

I called on Monday about a leaking water heater. By early Tuesday afternoon Southside Plumbing had it replaced. Mark was great to work with, and his installers were friendly and proficient. The price was roughly 20% less than other companies that I contacted. All in all, a very positive experience.

Late for an appointment without an apology. Amature quality work at $250 per hour labor charge for a small job. Is this a reasonable profit as we call it?. "Just slap the thing in and run" is my impression. Fortunately the repair works for a second star.

We just had to have our pressure regulator valve replaced and they were able to get us in the very next day! Their prices are very reasonable! Mark, was wonderful to deal with on the phone, and Miles, the technician who came out was just as great! I highly recommend them for all of your plumbing needs!

I had a water tank leak, and got answering machines at the first 2 places I called. Then I called Southside. They answered and I spoke to Mark, who said he could arrive in 2 hours. He was on time, professional, explained the situation thoroughly, and offered options to save money. He proceeded with the repair immediately. He even brought a small broom and dustpan and cleaned up the rust that dropped off the tank when he moved it.The other 2 places had not even returned my call before he was finished. I will call Southside for any future plumbing needs....

Used these guys a few months back and thought they were expensive. They charged double the cost of a toilet for installation but they did good work so I let it go. But charging almost 500 for a toilet install. I guess they feel 15 minutes of work is worth that much?? Toilets are not complicated... They actually did quite a bit of work for us that day though and they did good. We decided to use them again and called them a month ago. That's where it went south... Mark answered the phone and when they hear what was needed they say they will call back. Never got a call back. I had to call several times over 2 weeks to finally get them to come out for a quote. They came out and went over the project and said they would contact us within 3 days with the quote. No reply. They stopped answering the phone number. I called from my other phone a week later and they answered right away. I asked what the problem was, did they not want to do the work? I asked for honesty, if they didn't want the work we can call someone else but we are return customers and assumed they appreciate return business?? I get cut off at every other word with "yeah yeah yeah" and "we have nothing against you and the work" then more "ok ok ok" as I'm trying to talk. Extremely rude and unprofessional behavior. The call ends with "I will call you back in 45 minutes." I am writing this review a week later with no call back, no quote and no respect... I needed work done within a time frame as I was having items delivered later in the month. Southside proved how disrespectful and ungrateful they are. Maybe they're busy but that's all they had to say, instead they strung me along for a month as a return customer and completely wasted my time. I would never recommend these guys. All for one and that one is Southside... Horrible work ethics...

Mark caught a different plumbing issue while working on a drain that could have caused catastrophic issues down the road. He was able to simply and quickly fix the problem and for a very reasonable cost. So thankful for his skilled service and attention to detail. Southside Plumbing is also prompt at returning phone calls and easy to schedule, which has not been true of any other plumber I have tried to work with.

Thanks to Mark for coming out same day to replace the leaky expansion tank on my water heater!! He was friendly, professional, and charged me a very fair price for the service. I had called multiple other companies for estimates and Mark's price beat them by a long shot! I will not hesitate to call Mark again for any of our plumbing needs or to refer him to any friends or family needing a plumber.

Mrark installed a pressure reducing valve. After paying him, I turned on the water and no water. I went downstairs and turned on the water. Water pressure was very low. I called Mark two times and left a message about the low water pressure. He never returned my calls.I called Brothers plumbing and they adjusted the pressure and now the water pressure is good.I will never use Southside Plumbing and will not recommend them.
