Southside Plumbing came back out to look at a drain that appeared to have backed up since we cleaned it out. We ended up using camera scoping equipment as well as the drain cleaning machine. Roots were found inside the pipe in several locations where the pipe ends meet. The roots were removed to restore proper flow to the system.

Took out corrugated drain lines under kitchen sink to get rid of fittings that have backfall. -Rebuild all of the drainage under kitchen sink. Put on a high loop so that the water does not back up in the dishwasher. Install new main ball valve, and supported front hose bibb

Southside Plumbing altered the Ruffin location to the upstairs hall bathroom vanity. The piping had to be shifted a little over to the left in order to accommodate the new vanity. We will return for a second visit in order to put on the stops after the wall has been repaired.

Southside plumbing installed a new toilet in the basement bathroom. The new toilet is an elongated American Standard Champion in white with the tall seat option. We replaced several shutoff valves to various fixtures including the basement bathroom, kitchen sink, and upstairs bathroom sink. Lastly, we replaced the main shutoff valve for the whole house.

Customer had a water leak that cause some damage throughout the home. The restoration company needed to move the double vanity in the master bathroom. They wanted me to cap the 2 hot and 2 cold supplies that fed the 2 master bath sink faucets so the could disconnect and remove. -I used 4, 1/2” copper caps and soldered them on to the supply lines.

Bradford White Model #RG250H6N This water heater holds 48 gallons of water and produces 106 gallons of water in the first hour (produces 30% more hot water than the standard model per hour). Water heater code now requires water heaters to have an expansion tank. The expansion tank protects the water heater, but requires a full functioning pressure reducing valve to properly protect the water heater.

Customer had a high water bill. I looked around the house and only found that the basement toilet was running. I also tested the house pressure to be 104 psi. To take care of all the customer’s problems, I installed a new pressure reducing valve and set house pressure to 68 psi at the front hosebib. I also rebuilt the basement toilet and replaced the emergency stop for the same toilet.

Southside Plumbing attempted to reset a toilet on the upper floor. Toilet had been leaking and as a result in the middle floundering and head rest of the way as well as some rotting of the subfloor. Southside Plumbing attempted a toilet reset but could not get the flange steady due to the rotted subfloor. We left the toilet off of the flange for now while the homeowner is inquiring about sub floor repair. On the same appointment we also replaced a toilet lever, placed a toilet shut off valve, include some debris out of a pop-up assembly.

Southside Plumbing was out today to take a look at a garbage disposal that was not working. The electrical reset needed to be pressed on the bottom of the disposal and it began to work again. We inspected the rest of the disposal and it appeared to be in good working order.

Kitchen drain was backing up on both sides of the sink. After removing the piping below the sink it was determined that the clog was further down the pipe. Southside Plumbing ran a cable machine through the drain in order to remove the clog. The drain is back to normal function

installed a Halo H5-100 water conditioner, rerouted waterlines so that all of the fixtures in the house would go through the system. Rerouted the back hose baby, so that the filtration system water would not be used for it.

Cleared out left hand sink in master bathroom. Re-installed shower head in upstairs guest bath. Replaced shark bite water heater flex’s with stainless steel corrugated flex’s. Capped off old standpipe for previous laundry location.

tub spout in master bathroom, had a small internal crack that was pushing back toward the tile wall, and leaking to the drywall below. Found matching tub, spout, and put clear caulking.

Southside Plumbing was out today to repair the shower fixture by the pool. It appeared one of the cartridges was leaking out from where the handle attaches to the stem. We replaced the cartridge with a new part provided by Willows Learning Center. We did our best to visually inspect the shower to make sure that it was not leaking any further from what we can see. The shower appears to be in good working order and Steve wanted to leave it as is for right now. He is going to keep an eye out for any further leaking and if we see further leaking most likely we will have to open the wall to see where that it is coming from.

_ Checked front hose bibb out to see if it was leaking. Had it on for 20 minutes without water getting into the basement. Oh, but when water was dripping on the exterior of the house, water would roll back toward the foundation wall, and would immediately drop down into the basement. Recommend compacting dirt or other material and make it so that the pavers slope away from the house.

Southside Plumbing will get the mainline leading out to the sewer completely cleared of blockages. We may also have to make a quick pass at the shower drain as well as the floor drain. Additionally we will run a camera down simultaneously with the snake in order to visually see what is happening inside the line.

Pulled and reset toilet in master bathroom. Cleaned out tailpiece, extension, and ptrap on right hand master bathroom sink. Shimmed, tightened, tested, and caulked basement bathroom toilet.

Southside Plumbing located a shower leak coming from the shower arm and going down into the wall. The shower arm was replaced using a new drop-ear 90 elbow. Southside Plumbing was out to look at a hose bib that had frozen and burst. We believe this happened due to the previous hose bib having improper fall to drain out the hose bib assembly. The hose bib was beyond repair and had to be replaced with a new one, while we replaced it we fixed the fall issue so the hose bib now drains properly. Additionally, Southside Plumbing connected some previously ran Pex lines on the exterior so they have water supplied to 2 additional hose faucets outside.
