Replaced a hose Bibb. Parts and labor warrantied for a year.
Installed new drainline under kitchen sink and into the basement.
Customer has a slow leaking water heater. I gave estimates for suggested work. They will let us know. We talked about options and bank financing.
The existing 2nd floor hall bath tub/shower valve is leaking. I replaced/rebuilt the valve and tested. The valve is working as it should with no leaks now.
Customer had a notification from the water purveyor that they had a leak. After I searched the home, I found a few concerns. Most were just degraded fixtures and old valves that should be replaced to avoid future failures. I did find the irrigation valve was not holding. This is the only cause I can see for a small leak. I recommend replacing the mainline valve tree asap. I would also recommend replace the water heater and all the old emergency stops in the home.
Customer had very hot water when running cold only, in the washing machine. When they hooked up their new washer and dryer, they hooked the cold supply to the hot side of the washing machine. I screwed the hoses on correctly so the homeowners will not have problems anymore. No charge.
Southside Plumbing came out to examine a leak on the mainline. One of the meter unions is leaking a little bit and after further inspection, We found that this is due to the pipe not being fully inserted into the fitting. The pressure was checked and was found to be 92 to 94 psi. Southside Plumbing repaired the leak and Also replaced the pressure regulator.
Replaced a faucet parts and labor warrantied for a year.
Diagnose source of water leak, did not find source of leak. Do not think it’s from the plumbing. Possibly from roof, or siding.
I will return tomorrow morning (meet David) at 7 am to cut into the bar wall. I cut through the plastic sheeting and drywall behind the bar wall (eastern side of the bar). I found a leak from the hand sink steel braided supply line. I replaced both steel braided supply lines to the hand sink (no charge). This stopped the leak and now allows both the hot and cold sides of the faucet to be used. I also found a leak on the 3/4” pex pipe coming up out of the slab (hot supply to the bar). The leak on a 3/4” hot pex supply line will be cut out and repaired. The leak is about 1 inch above the concrete slab. This estimate is to repair the line without breaking up the concrete. I turned back on the water to the restaurant. The bar faucets were tested. All faucets are working with no leaks. The repair was tested, as well. The repair is holding and no longer leaking. Went to change out washing machine valves in upstairs laundry room, the box started to crack and fall apart. Went ahead and installed a new washing machine box along with valves with integrated shock arresters. Reattached the existing washing machine hoses.
The price was a bit too steep to perform the work. The home owner will turn the house off and replace the washing machine.
Replaced a 50gal water heater and the pressure regulator valve. Pressure was set at 68psi.
There were feminine products in the line, I used a drain cleaner to clean the line.
Customer had an irrigation shutoff valve that didn’t shut off all the way. I installed a new 1” shutoff valve with a bleeder to help make sure the irrigation line won’t fill up with water and freeze over the winter.
Toilet was clogged up due to debris in the line. I used an electric snake to clear it and made sure it was functioning correctly.
Supply and install 2 new sinks and 2 new faucets for the master bathroom. I added 2 new supplies and some drain extensions to accommodate the new sinks and faucets.
Cut out drywall behind refrigerator and put new valve for the future event of repairing, or install of a new refrigerator.
Customer had a drip on his whole house filter. It just needed a slight turn to get it to stop leaking.
Three faucets were leaking, client will go ahead and purchase new faucets and reschedule for a later date to have them installed. Pressure was checked and it’s set at 58psi.
Southside Plumbing replaced the shower trim/diverter on a delta shower valve in the upstairs hall bath. The existing cartridge was left as is but the rest of the fixture was updated with new trim. Clear caulking was used to seal the trim plate as well as the tub spout to the wall.
Replaced (3) toilets. Provided and installed (3) Kohler high line arcs.
Replaced the main valve tree. Parts and labor warrantied for a year.
Installed customer supplied toilet and shut off valve. Parts and labor on the shut off valve are warrantied for a year.
Customer installed her own sink, faucet and garbage disposal in May. There was a leak on the hot side of the faucet. Tighten the kitchen sink faucet, drains, and install a new hammer arrester for the dishwasher. Snaked the kitchen sink drain to clear blockage. The drain was full of sludge. If the drain backs up soon, we will need to Repipe and correct the pitch in the drain for the kitchen sink.
The plumber, Chris, was friendly and explained the likely charge before he began to work. He steered us in the right direction to get a part for a brand he didn't carry but the main problem, a clogged drain, is fixed. Hopefully, we can install the popup assembly when it arrives next week. Otherwise, we'll definitely call Chris again!

I've needed Southside three times in the past two years...for a new water heater (they had the best price), a new shut off valve for my sprinklers, and most recently to fix a phantom noise in one of my toilets. After nearly three hours of troubleshooting, Kyle was able to find a small plastic/ceramic thing was stuck in the water line and remove it. Problem solved. Would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

Chris arrived soon after I made an emergency call to fix a leak at the main valve in the basement. Fortunately he was able to stop it, as it’s an older valve and very risky to tighten. And I don’t have an ark. I appreciate his quick response!

Just moved into a new house. Had a honey-do list of problems and a new kitchen sink to install. Trevor was incredibly kind and knowledgeable.
