We had an apparent "pinhole" leak right at the point where the main water line entered through the basement wall. Three other plumbers declined to work on it. Trevor diagnosed the source, and confirmed the defect during the repair, to know the root cause was resolved. And for bonus points he discovered that the sump pump had died as well and he was able to replace that on the same visit. Excellent, diligent work.

I had a water leak in my basement and needed emergency plumbing services on a Sunday. Southside Plumbing was very responsive and dispatched Trevor to repair the leak. He was awesome, showing up on time, clearly communicating the work to be done, and completing it in a quick and professional manner. He even took time to show me where my water shut-off is located in my front yard and to go into my crawl space to assess the amount of water a restoration company will need to address. I couldn't be happier, and give Southside Plumbing my highest recommendation!

Service was very comprehensive (included basement main-water plumb lines replacement; kitchen sink new faucets; bathroom sink improvement; and water heater adjustment). Cheerful, respectful, hard-working service. When one plastic part began leaking the 2nd day, there was quick response, and hours of re-work at no additional cost. Overall, very positive experience. Not cheap, but involved modernization of 40-year old plumbing system.

Great service from Kyle and Southside Plumbing. Able to trace a kitchen and basement leak back to a faulty disposal. Replaced it quickly and answered all of my questions.

Mark and his team have made several improvements to the plumbing of my 1983 era home. They've replace the valves, serviced my tankless water heater and today replaced a toilet that was original to the home. They are professional and the care they exhibit is genuine.
Wes with Southside plumbing did a fantastic job! I thought that the flange under one of the toilets in my house needed to be replaced. He checked it out and it turned out to be repairable, saving me over $500.00. He also redid a sink drain pipe that wasn’t siphoning correctly. He was honest, respectful and was upfront about pricing. This was my first time using Southside plumbing and I am very impressed! Definetly recommend them!
I highly recommend Southside Plumbing. Trevor replaced both toilets in our home on short notice and worked efficiently and once again left no trace of debris. This crew is very clean and so much better than most contractors that leave a mess you have to follow up on once they leave.I'll recommend this company to all of my neighbors if the topic comes up and will not use anyone else for future projects.

Mark is in New Orleans. He left on Friday and returns on Saturday. I was feeling a little sorry for myself until I spoke to him last night. The insurance company only gave this family half of the value of the house and nothing for the trailer.
Mark is working on the plumbing of a man named Dave. He has a large piece of land near New Orleans that was devastated by Hurricane Katrina. He owns a trailer that was 4 feet off the ground that was completely destroyed and he owns a house that was 9 feet (yes, you read that correctly) off the ground and that had serious damage done to it, too. He was not directly in New Orleans (he lives in an area similar to maybe Sedalia) and did not receive help from the Red Cross. His insurance company was procrastinating so finally he and his wife dug in the shed and found a very wet tent and cleaned it and aired it out. They lived in that tent for 8 months before they bought another tent. During that time they were try to salvage what they could and pick up the missing pieces.
They have been working for 3 years and still neither is livable. Mark is putting new plumbing in the trailer so they have a place to live while they fix up the house.
WOW.
Mark spoke with someone else about the families that have been separated. Can you imagine? Say something like that happened here. Everyone leaves the city in a hurry and all is in a state of disaster. You would lose contact with everyone. Cell phones are destroyed, phone lines are ripped out of houses. There is no internet. One person said that their son was missing (an older teen) and they found him a year later working in the city and surviving on very little pay trying to support himself. Another person said that they don’t know where their son’s family is now.
WOW.
You would think that everything is coming together in New Orleans. All of the TV specials are done. We saw Oprah build 5 new houses. We saw people getting aid. Mark spoke to someone that said that the people with money are returning to life as normal because they had the money to rebuild. What about the people that were struggling? We saw people floating in boats to get out of the city. They couldn’t leave because they didn’t have the money to leave town. Where in the world are these people now? Don’t think that the aid is getting to them. One thing about our government is that the people with money and education and resources are the ones who receive aid first. It’s the squeaky wheel syndrome.
Anyway, I just wanted to share that with you. If you can find a way to help, please do it. We assume that things like this don’t happen in America.
