Replaced a shutoff valve to an outside Hosebibb.

Replaced 1” backflow device in front yard.

Capped off the 1 inch line that was coming from the existing sprinkler system in the front yard. Tied on the main waterline, providing a shut off valve, and routing approximately 50 feet of new pecks piping. New 3/4” backflow preventer, along with new copper piping on the exterior of the house. Customer called about a slow draining bathtub in the upstairs hall bath. Southside plumbing removed the trip lever plate and it was determined that the trip lever was faulty and preventing proper flow. Southside plumbing purchased and installed a new trip level and plate. Tested and performed well. Parts and labor warranty for one year.

Southside Plumbing replaced the pop-up assembly with a push up-and-down unit. The P-trap was also upsized from inch and a quarter to inch and a half. The changes were made to help the flow of drainage.

Rerouted sump pump discharge line and incorporated two check valves

I flushed the toilet multiple times to try and recreate the clog but it didn’t reoccur. I run the shower for half an hour and it didn’t clog up. The customer said she will reach back to Southside plumbing if the issue arises again.

Today, we came out to our clients home to take a look at the toilet that was leaking through the floor and dripping in the basement. We removed the toilet from the floor, replaced the wax ring and toilet bolts. Then we reinstalled the toilet. After this, we checked for leaks. The toilet is working nicely now. One year warranty on resetting the toilet. We did not work on the inner parts of the toilet, it is not under warranty. While we were here, our client wanted estimates for installinga waterline for the refrigerator and installing a wash tub sink in the basement. We found the expansion joint on the sewer stack, crushed, and in need of adjustment and replacement. Our client will consider possibly having us back out to do this work. The toilet in the basement bathroom is leaking at the base. The toilet was reset by Southside Plumbing using a new supply line, a new wax ring, shims, and fresh caulking.

Completed installation of new gas line for outdoor kitchen. Ran 3/4" black iron pipe from existing manifold, properly secured to structure. Installed shutoff valve and sediment trap before connection point. Pressure tested system at 15 PSI for 30 minutes - no leaks detected. Applied gas-rated thread sealant at all connections. System ready for grill connection. All work complies with local code requirements and passed initial inspection.

Water was dripping into the basement going down both waterlines. Checked underneath the dishwasher that was full of water. Use the shop vac to clean out. Also ripped out the under part of the cabinet. Could not find the leak only charged a portion of the diagnosis fee. Keep an eye out on if it discontinues.

Replaced drain 90degree elbow that was leaking in to the basement

Those babe was leaking in the front yard. Turned off water and installed a new hose bib. Cut out some extra wood to be able to put in the piping to make the repair.

Multiple toilets throughout the home are showing signs of deterioration inside the toilet tanks. The deterioration is taking place on the rubber seals and this is partly due to in tank cleaners being used. Southside Plumbing removed the tanks and rebuilt them with new parts and seals. New mounting hardware was used to mount the tank back on the toilet bowl. It is recommended to not have anything present inside the tank except for water. Use of in tank cleaners destroys the gaskets and will void any warranty on the new parts.

Today, I came out to my clients home to take a look at a broken pressure vacuum breaker. My clients 1 inch pressure vacuum breaker has frozen and broken. I installed a new 1 inch pressure vacuum breaker with 1 inch unions. Now the unit can be removed and stored inside for the winter. No chance of freezing ever again. One year parts and labor warranty. Replaced a pop up assembly in the master bathroom

Today, I came out to my clients home to investigate a leak in the basement ceiling directly below a bathroom shower upstairs. When I arrived, my client has cut the ceiling open, and you can see all of the drains. Everything has had a couple of days to dry out, so there is nothing wet. There is about 1 gallon of water in a bucket. When the leak occurred it leaked enough to fill that bucket. So what we have here is a leak that leaks enough to fill a bucket which is quite substantial and while I am here running both the sink and the shower. We cannot even get it to make a drip. The shower valve is not leaking and the drains are not leaking. We can see them and they are not leaking. After an extensive amount of time running the shower onto the floor only. I have deduced that the tile is what is leaking in this bathroom. There is a lot of tile in this bathroom it’s wall to wall.
