Shut the main off to several units to put on a new main ball valve to your unit. Also put on the washing machine valves that you provided. Don’t forget to reset the toilet on the main floor. It rocks quite a bit. The bolt on the right side is completely gone and the left side is fairly rusted. The flange in the floor may need to be rebuilt, but unknown until the toilet is taken off to take a look at it. Wishing you both the best in your new home. Mark, with Southside Plumbing.

Plumbing Repairs: A homeowner noticed water pooling under their kitchen sink. After inspecting the area, I discovered a cracked P-trap pipe was causing the leak. I replaced it with a new, durable pipe, tightened all the fittings, and tested the sink to make sure there were no more leaks. The repair was quick, and the kitchen is now leak-free and fully functional.

Plumbing Repairs: A second‑floor shower was staining the ceiling below. I removed the corroded ABS drain, replaced it with a stainless steel and PVC assembly, added a new rubber gasket, and performed a 30‑minute flood test, confirming no leaks and protecting the subfloor from moisture damage.

Tankless Water Heater Installation: A family of five routinely ran out of hot water during back‑to‑back showers. I removed the 40‑gallon tank unit and installed a 9‑GPM condensing tankless heater, routed new venting, and upsized the gas line.

Pressure Reducing Valve Installation: The client reported banging pipes whenever multiple fixtures ran at once. My gauge reading showed 110 psi static pressure from the main. I installed a brass PRV set to 65 psi, added a thermal expansion tank at the water heater, and rechecked system pressure, eliminating water hammer and protecting downstream fixtures.

Gas Line Repair: A homeowner smelled faint gas near the stove. I traced the odor to a hairline crack in a flex connector behind the appliance. After shutting off the main supply, I replaced the damaged connector with a stainless‑steel version, pressure‑tested the full line, and verified zero leaks, restoring safe operation for all gas‑powered equipment.

Installed tile ready shower pan and dual valve setup in main floor guest bath.

Backflow Preventer Installation: Installed a backflow preventer at the main water line to safeguard the homeowner’s potable water supply from contamination, ensuring code compliance and water safety.

Water Heater Repair Service: Flushed a traditional water heater tank to remove sediment buildup that was reducing performance. Cleaned and recalibrated the system, restoring efficient heating and extending the unit’s lifespan.
Smart Plumbing Installation: Installed a Moen Flo Smart Water Monitor and Shutoff system. The client can now monitor water usage in real-time and detect leaks remotely, improving water conservation and offering peace of mind through proactive alerts.
Fixed leaking pressure relief valve on aging A.O. Smith water heater. replaced valve & inspected tank - no corrosion issues visible. flushed system to remove sediment buildup. tested thermostat & heating element - both functioning normally. unit is 9 yrs old but still in decent shape. customer should get another 2-3 yrs life with proper maintenance. showed homeowner how to do annual flush to extend life. quick fix today saved them $$$ on replacement!
Today, I came out to my clients home to take a look at a water heater that was no longer producing hot water. Our client wanted to have a new water heater installed, rather than invest money into a 10-year-old water heater. Due to the design of the new water heaters, I had to install a 30 gallon water heater, which just barely fit into the cabinet, both due to width and height. This water heater should service this small apartment well. If for some reason, it does not put out enough hot water to satisfy their needs, I have informed them that a mixing valve can be installed, and the unit can be turned up, which will allow it to produce more hot water while still providing a safe temperature for the family to bathe in. I have left an estimate for installing a mixing valve just in case they want to have more hot water. I removed a pipe that extends the combustion air from the ceiling down to the bottom of the cabinet. This pipe is not needed. There are two 5 inch inlets 6 feet above

Installed whole-house RO filtration system today. Connected to main line with bypass valve, mounted pressure gauge, and set proper flow rate. Water tests show 99% reduction in contaminants. Had to modify some existing piping but got everything done in one visit. Customer seems very happy with improved water quality!

The tenant was having problems with the kitchen and bathroom drain backing up. We snaked the drain to clear the blockage. The kitchen sink was detached from the countertop and the garbage disposal was leaking through the broken housing. The basket strainer for the 2nd basin was also broken and leaking. I replaced the garbage disposal and basket strainer. I also secured the sink with some wooden supports and siliconed around the top of the sink. The p-trap and the end out waste pipes were replaced. All work was tested for leaks and none were found. The drains were all working without any signs of backing up.

Responded to emergency call in Denver regarding non-functional sump pump during heavy rainfall. Upon inspection, determined the Zoeller M63 1/3 HP pump had failed due to seized impeller and worn bearings. Water level in pit was approaching basement floor level requiring immediate action. Replaced pump with equivalent model and installed new check valve as previous valve was showing signs of deterioration. Also identified improper float switch height adjustment which had caused short-cycling. Corrected positioning to ensure proper activation/deactivation cycles. Discharge line was partially obstructed with mineral buildup; cleared using mechanical snake to ensure maximum flow capacity. Verified proper operation through multiple test cycles confirming appropriate water level triggering. Additionally, installed water alarm system at customer's request to provide early warning of pump failure. System is now functioning correctly with water level maintaining appropriately low level in pit.

Customer described water dripping down their wall, behind the laundry machine. The drain is 1 1/2”. It appears to have a shorter than necessary riser and possibly little to no fall on the drain line. Everything is in ceilings or walls and can’t be seen. We weren’t able to recreate a leak. It looks like when the drain is overwhelmed, it will back up. I recommend repiping the drain line and installing a new washer box with a properly plumbed drain. Estimate for replacing the existing laundry drain would be 2500-3500 without any demo work.

Southside Plumbing installed new cartridges in the upstairs master shower and washing machine valves.

Texted homeowner and gave him another referral going to Advanced Boiler, not sending estimate

I replaced a broken Roman tub cartridge.

Tested and identified leak on diverting cartridge. Replacement ordered and expected by 10/3

The customer said they had water on the floor in the basement. They dried it all up and I arrived after they dried up the floor. I am not able to recreate and leak of puddling. There isn’t any plumbing with active leaks anywhere near the original puddling. The basement window shows signs of water damage and feels like there was water behind the paint near the window. It is possible that the water came from outside. I recommend calling back when and if the water comes back. Don’t clean it up and allow us to see an active leak somewhere.

Toilet Replacement Service: The client’s toilet was outdated and frequently clogging. I removed the old toilet and installed a new, high-efficiency model. I ensured the new toilet was securely fitted and sealed, providing the client with a reliable and efficient bathroom fixture.

Smart Plumbing Installation: The client wanted to install a smart water monitoring system to detect leaks and monitor water usage. I installed the Moen Flo Smart Water System on their main water line, configured the device, and guided the client through the app setup, ensuring they could easily track and manage their water usage.

Plumbing Repairs: I was called to the client's home to address multiple plumbing issues, including a running toilet and a dripping faucet. I replaced the faulty flapper in the toilet and the worn-out washer in the faucet, ensuring both fixtures functioned properly and efficiently.

Backflow Preventer Installation: I arrived at the client's home to install a backflow preventer, as they were concerned about potential contamination of their water supply. I carefully installed the device on their main water line, ensuring it was properly fitted and tested, providing them with peace of mind regarding water safety.
