There were feminine products in the line, I used a drain cleaner to clean the line.
Customer had an irrigation shutoff valve that didn’t shut off all the way. I installed a new 1” shutoff valve with a bleeder to help make sure the irrigation line won’t fill up with water and freeze over the winter.
Toilet was clogged up due to debris in the line. I used an electric snake to clear it and made sure it was functioning correctly.
Supply and install 2 new sinks and 2 new faucets for the master bathroom. I added 2 new supplies and some drain extensions to accommodate the new sinks and faucets.
Cut out drywall behind refrigerator and put new valve for the future event of repairing, or install of a new refrigerator.
Customer had a drip on his whole house filter. It just needed a slight turn to get it to stop leaking.
Three faucets were leaking, client will go ahead and purchase new faucets and reschedule for a later date to have them installed. Pressure was checked and it’s set at 58psi.
Southside Plumbing replaced the shower trim/diverter on a delta shower valve in the upstairs hall bath. The existing cartridge was left as is but the rest of the fixture was updated with new trim. Clear caulking was used to seal the trim plate as well as the tub spout to the wall.
Replaced (3) toilets. Provided and installed (3) Kohler high line arcs.
Replaced the main valve tree. Parts and labor warrantied for a year.
Installed customer supplied toilet and shut off valve. Parts and labor on the shut off valve are warrantied for a year.
Customer installed her own sink, faucet and garbage disposal in May. There was a leak on the hot side of the faucet. Tighten the kitchen sink faucet, drains, and install a new hammer arrester for the dishwasher. Snaked the kitchen sink drain to clear blockage. The drain was full of sludge. If the drain backs up soon, we will need to Repipe and correct the pitch in the drain for the kitchen sink.
Replaced the cartridge and all trim items in the master bath shower and the upstairs guest bath tub/shower. Parts provided by homeowner.
The customer has a Grohe Lady Lux kitchen sink faucet. The sprayer and hose need to be replaced or a new faucet needs to be installed. The newer version of the LadyLux is the Grohe Zedra. See estimate to supply and install a new Grohe Zedra. I installed the new Zedra 11/26/24. All connections were tested and the faucet was tested for proper working order. All is working as it should with no leaks.
Customer has a slow drain for the kitchen sink. Water came out of the dishwasher standpipe, in the cabinet. The bottom of the cabinet was wet, due to the partially blocked drain. I snaked the drain to clear the blockage. I ran the snake 75 feet. This was more than enough to clear the kitchen sink drain. I filled up the 2 basin sink 3x to test for leaks and proper drainage. The water drained free and clear with no signs of blockage. I recommend using an enzymatic cleaner to help keep the drain clear. It should be used in the kitchen sink drain.
Southside Plumbing repaired a leaking drain elbow in the ceiling of the laundry area. The fitting appears to have never been glued with pvc cement. The unglued fitting leaked directly onto the drywall below
Water Heater Repair: A homeowner reported their water heater was not providing sufficient hot water. Upon inspection, we discovered a faulty heating element. We replaced the component, adjusted the thermostat, and restored the unit’s heating capacity, ensuring the homeowner had consistent hot water.
Smart Home Plumbing Upgrade: To modernize a homeowner’s plumbing system, we integrated smart water leak detectors and remote-controlled shut-off valves. These upgrades allow the homeowner to monitor their plumbing system through a mobile app, reducing the risk of water damage and improving convenience.
We removed customers old kitchen sink, faucet, garbage disposal, and under sink drainage piping and installed all new customer supplied equipment for the kitchen as well as built new drainage piping. During installation the dishwasher flex began leaking so we provided a new flex.
Customer has a broken shower valve. He will get more quotes and maybe might call us back to fix it.
Found water dripping from a 3 inch vent line in the mechanical room. Gave an estimate for diagnosing source of leak. Went upstairs to the owners above to see if they are any issues, Found none. Cut out drywall above the water heater and found two leaks coming from the same line. Cut out to 90° elbows and put in new piping along with some couplings. This one gave me for my money, it was definitely a difficult location to work in. Also found some ductwork that was disconnected in the ceiling, use silver tape to reconnect that. Wouldn’t be concerned on re-drywalling, as it is in the ceiling of the mechanical room.
A hose was stuck on the Bibb in the backyard. Southside Plumbing was able to free the hose and disconnect it with pliers. After cleaning the threads and testing out the hose Bibb, the existing unit appears to be in good working order. Pricing was given for replacement but the
Replaced a faucet on the main floor bathroom
Cleared kitchen sink blockage with snake. I hit the blockage around 20 feet. There was another difficult area at about 40 feet. Since the line is draining free and clear, now, there is no further need to look at the other areas. If the line backs up again, in the near future, we can look deeper into the rest of the drain line/s. There is no warranty on drain cleanings.
Gave estimates for water heater and mixing valve
The plumber, Chris, was friendly and explained the likely charge before he began to work. He steered us in the right direction to get a part for a brand he didn't carry but the main problem, a clogged drain, is fixed. Hopefully, we can install the popup assembly when it arrives next week. Otherwise, we'll definitely call Chris again!

I've needed Southside three times in the past two years...for a new water heater (they had the best price), a new shut off valve for my sprinklers, and most recently to fix a phantom noise in one of my toilets. After nearly three hours of troubleshooting, Kyle was able to find a small plastic/ceramic thing was stuck in the water line and remove it. Problem solved. Would use these guys again in a heartbeat.

Chris arrived soon after I made an emergency call to fix a leak at the main valve in the basement. Fortunately he was able to stop it, as it’s an older valve and very risky to tighten. And I don’t have an ark. I appreciate his quick response!

Just moved into a new house. Had a honey-do list of problems and a new kitchen sink to install. Trevor was incredibly kind and knowledgeable.
