There is a space below the shower door that allows water to percolate through and get on the ceiling downstairs. I recommend caulking or silicone to make it impervious to water.
Replaced main valve tree and rebuilt the toilet in the master bedroom
The reverse osmosis system is leaking under the kitchen sink. The system was disconnected and removed to prevent any further leaking. Pricing to replace the system will be sent via email.
The customer called because the sink in their basement bathroom was draining slowly. Southside Plumbing removed the pop-up assembly and P-trap, and found that there was gunk inside of it. Southside Plumbing cleaned the P-trap and the pop-up assembly out, filled the sink up, and tested for proper flow. The basement sink is now flowing. They also had noticed that the caulking around the perimeter of their master shower was cracking. They wanted it to be re-caulked. The customer provided a gray sanded grout caulk. Southside Plumbing caulked it.
The kitchen faucet was replaced with a new Delta faucet. The faucet is from the Greydon line and it was provided by the homeowner. A soap dispenser to match the faucet was also installed.
Came out for a mainline blockage. Pulled the toilet and snake with 100 foot cable that slightly opened it up. Had difficulty using the scope on a tight turn, so went through the roof, which found that there was a large amount of roots. Due to the length on how far the route blockage was, went down into the crawlspace and used the flex shaft machine to tear up the roots in two different sections. Scoped again, everything looked fantastic. Definitely ain’t glad to come out and help you tonight to get your home back in working order again. Wishing you the best Mark, with Southside Plumbing.
The washing machine valves were replaced with new quarter turn valves. All valve connections were made using soldered pipe and fittings.
Water Heater Estimate. There was a sulfur egg smell and the tank had never been flushed. It was an eleven year old tank. The customer was given an estimate for a new one.
Replaced hot side handle and valve on upstairs hall bathroom sink. Parts provided by homeowner.
The master bathroom is being remodeled and is currently gutted. The compression stop for the toilet as well as the cold valve for the right handed sink are leaking. Southside Plumbing capped off the openings to prevent any leaking from the valves.
I was glad to come out Saturday to prepare some pipes to get your water back on. Both water heaters have a six year manufacture warranty. Put on all new isolation valves, flex connectors, expansion tank, gas flex connectors, pans under the heater to protect from future leaks. Replaced the number one and number 2 valves did a water heater valve and a fridge valve
Customer called because they had extremely low pressure throughout the home. When Southside Plumbing measured the water pressure, it was only 40 pounds. The pressure reducing valve had failed. Southside Plumbing installed a new pressure reducing valve and set the pressure to 68pounds. While inspecting the home, several other issues were brought up. There was a cracked vent pipe in the mechanical room. Southside Plumbing replaced the pipe and added an expansion coupling. The stairway bath, had a leaking toilet and faucet. The customer is currently remodeling the home and is going to install three new toilets and faucet when the time comes and estimates were sent for this work.Parts and labor warranty for one year, replied to the pressure reducing valve and the work done in the mechanical room.
Camera’d main drain line from (2) cleanout access’. Line is clear except a small batch of toilet paper. Unexplainable why it backs up 1x per year, but discussed coming out before that time next year to reassess.
The tub/shower fixture in the upstairs hall bath was replaced with a new unit provided by the homeowner. The new fixture is made by delta.
The customer called because Highlands Ranch water had recently replaced her meter. Since this she has noticed a spike in her water bill. She put the dye tablets in all of her toilets. The toilet on the main floor was found to be leaking into the bowl. When inspected, it was found that the flapper and fill valve were faulty. I checked the meter, when the toilet was not running It was reading zero. When the toilet was running, it would fluctuate between one and three gallons per minute. Her son is going to replace the guts of the toilet. She will call back if the issue persists.
Put in a shock arrestor for the sprinkler system and the whole house that should help with the water hammer situation.

The garbage disposal is inoperable and needs to be replaced. Southside plumbing replaced the disposal with a Pro750 from Insinkerator. This disposal features a four stage grind, stainless steel internals, and a 10 year warranty from Insinkerator. (Southside Plumbing warranties all other parts and labor for one year) The drain had to be cleaned out with a drain cable for the drain to run at full capacity. The dishwasher is faulty and Southside Plumbing removed the dishwasher.
The customer called because the hose bib in the rear of the house was not operating as it should. It was difficult to turn it all the way on and off. This was due to a broken shaft in the hose bib. Southside Plumbing replaced the internals of the rear hose bib. Parts and labor warranty for one year.
Cleaned out the basement sink drain.
The kitchen drain line is connected in a way that prohibits the use of a drain machine without cutting the line open. Southside Plumbing re-piped the line and added a clean out to aid in potential drain cleaning in the future. The wine also had to be cleared out with a cable in order to restore proper flow.
